Paper settings and PDF files
GridKite stores your most recent paper settings in your browser’s local storage so they can be restored on your next visit. The PDF is generated in your browser. GridKite does not require an account to use these tools.
The name tracing worksheet does not save the name you enter. It is not added to the page URL or local storage, and GridKite does not send it to its analytics, support button, or a server. The worksheet uses a self-hosted handwriting font and creates the PDF in the browser.
Advertising, analytics, and voluntary support
GridKite displays Adsterra banners on tool and guide pages. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and process routine request data, such as IP address, browser or device details, the page URL, and ad views or interactions, to deliver and measure ads. We do not include paper settings or entered names in the ad configuration. See Adsterra’s privacy policy. Advertising is excluded from generated PDFs and printouts.
The live site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage.
Support GridKite buttons load a Ko-fi script and cup icon plus a Google font supplied by Ko-fi. These requests can disclose routine request information to those providers. GridKite does not send paper settings or PDF content to the button. Selecting a button opens Ko-fi in a new tab, where Ko-fi handles payment and related data under its privacy policy. Support is optional and does not change access to GridKite’s tools.
Site analytics
We measure pages visited, broad referral sources, language, tool actions and active page time to improve the site. We use a random temporary identifier in the current tab. We do not collect entered names, paper settings or worksheet content, file contents or URL query parameters through these analytics.
We respect your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal.
There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for analytics records. Contact us below with questions or deletion requests. Cloudflare helps process these analytics. Other services are described separately on this page.
